Circuit Model of a Double-Layer <?Pub _newline ?>Artificial Magnetic Conductor PROJECT TITLE :Circuit Model of a Double-Layer Artificial Magnetic ConductorABSTRACT:This letter presents a circuit model to style a double-layer square artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) with a tiny amount relative to the wavelength in the UHF band. The miniaturization is achieved because of a sq. patch array printed alternatively on each side of a skinny dielectric substrate. These closely spaced arrays cause a high grid impedance allowing to decrease the amount of the AMC. The proposed model is validated by simulations for several configurations and by measurements. The resonance frequency of the realized AMC is two.68 GHz with a bandwidth of 260 MHz. The dimensions of the unit cell are eleven.five ×eleven.five mm2 or zero.oneλ0 ×0.1λ0.
