PROJECT TITLE :

A Circuit Model of Hysteresis and Creep

ABSTRACT:

A circuit design that models hysteretic phenomena is proposed. The model is versatile enough to breed both rate-freelance hysteresis and thermal relaxation effects (creep), commonly observed in several real-world physical systems like piezoelectric actuators. By suitably tuning the nonlinear characteristics of the resistive parts of the network, the well-known log(t) time dependence of the creep relaxation dynamics can be accurately reproduced. An identification procedure is proposed, and 2 take a look at cases are mentioned.
