PROJECT TITLE :

Fast Distributed Reactive Power Control for Voltage Regulation in Distribution Networks

ABSTRACT:

Distributed energy resources' reactive power can be optimally regulated to regulate voltage in distribution networks, which this letter addresses. Convex quadratic optimization problems with linear constraints are initially constructed using the linearized DistFlow model as its foundation. Using the dual decomposition and accelerated gradient projected techniques, a distributed accelerated dual descent algorithm is developed to tackle the optimization problem.
