Decentralized Metaverse of Things Service Management Powered by Blockchain PROJECT TITLE : Blockchain-Empowered Service Management for the Decentralized Metaverse of Things ABSTRACT: The current emerging trends of combining the physical and virtual realities in cyberspace will be the primary factor in determining the direction that NetWorking will take in the future. In light of the ongoing pandemic challenges, the roles of virtual and augmented reality will undoubtedly expand over the course of time by metamorphosing into the paradigm of the Metaverse of Things. In this paradigm, every person, thing, and other entity will coexist simultaneously in multiple synchronized realities. In this paper, we propose a novel framework for future applications that will take advantage of the metaverse. This framework will be made up of multiple synchronized data flows coming from multiple operators and passing through multiple wearable devices, and it will have varying quality requirements. A brand new model for service quality is suggested, and it will be based on a configurable utility function that will be applied to each individual data flow. In a decentralized mobile network environment, the proposed method is based on dynamic fine-grained data flow allocation and service selection utilizing non-fungible tokens. These tokens can be traded over the Blockchain between users and operators in the mobile network environment. Did you like this research project?
