A Synchronization Method for Single-Phase Grid-Tied Inverters PROJECT TITLE :A Synchronization Method for Single-Phase Grid-Tied InvertersABSTRACT:The controllers of single-phase grid-tied inverters require enhancements to enable distribution generation systems to satisfy the grid codes/standards with respect to power quality and also the fault ride through capability. In that case, the response of the chosen synchronization technique is crucial for the performance of the entire grid-tied inverter. In this paper, a brand new synchronization methodology with smart dynamics and high accuracy under a highly distorted voltage is proposed. This technique uses a Multiharmonic Decoupling Cell (MHDC), which so will cancel out the oscillations on the synchronization signals thanks to the harmonic voltage distortion while maintaining the dynamic response of the synchronization. Thus, the accurate and dynamic response of the proposed MHDC-PLL will be useful for the performance of the full single-phase grid-tied inverter. Did you like this research project?
