Solar PV Integrated UPQC-P for Critical Loads: Dynamic Performance PROJECT TITLE : Dynamic Performance of Solar PV Integrated UPQC-P for Critical Loads ABSTRACT: These results demonstrate the dynamic performance of an integrated UPQC-P array for critical loads, including a solar photovoltaic array (SPV-UPQC-P). Connected across the load, SPV-UPQC-shunt P's compensator compensates for reactive power while also delivering electricity from the PV array to the grid. SPV-UPQC-series P's converter corrects for fluctuations in utility grid voltage. In order to correct for sags and swells, a sufficient voltage is injected into the grid in phase with the grid voltage. A simple DC-DC boost converter is used to connect the SPV-UPQC-solar P's PV array to the DC-link. To show the system's functionality, Matlab-Simulink is used in conjunction with a variety of real-world situations, such as changing levels of irradiation, fluctuating voltage levels, and step changes in load.
