Robust Stability Analysis of DC Micro grids with Constant Power Loads - 2017 PROJECT TITLE :Robust Stability Analysis of DC Micro grids with Constant Power Loads - 2017ABSTRACT:This paper studies stability analysis of dc microgrids with unsure constant power hundreds (CPLs). It's well-known that CPLs have negative impedance effects, that could cause instability in a dc microgrid. Existing works often study the steadiness around a given equilibrium based on some nominal values of CPLs. However, in real applications, the equilibrium of a dc microgrid depends on the loading condition that always changes over time. Completely different from many previous results, this paper develops a framework which will analyze the DC microgrid stability for a given vary of CPLs. The matter is formulated as a strong stability drawback of a polytopic unsure linear system. By exploiting the structure of the matter, we tend to derive a collection of sufficient conditions that may be efficiently checked by solving convex optimization problems to guarantee regionally strong stability. The effectiveness and nonconservativeness of the proposed framework are demonstrated using simulation examples. Did you like this research project?
