Modular Tri-port High-Power Converter for SRM based Plug-in Hybrid Electrical Trucks - 2017

ABSTRACT:

In recent years, plug-in hybrid electrical trucks (PHETs) have received much attention due to high demand of fuel efficienty and surroundings protection against the exhaust gas emission [one]–[5]. PHETs combine the merits of the electrical vehicles and hybrid electrical vehicles, which have a extended running time, flexible grid association interface, and acceptable value [vi]–[nine]. Compared to permanent-magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs), switched reluctance motors (SRMs) have a simple structure with no rotor windings and permanent magnets (PMs) made from rare-earth materials, and solely silicon steel and stator windings are needed. Therefore, these motors have the capability of operating for a while beneath harsh surroundings because of their rugged structure [10]–[12] .
