Joint Carrier Matching and Power Allocation for Wireless Video with General Distortion Measure - 2018 PROJECT TITLE :Joint Carrier Matching and Power Allocation for Wireless Video with General Distortion Measure - 2018ABSTRACT:In this Project, we gift a cross-layer style for a family of OFDM-primarily based video Communications by jointly considering application layer data and therefore the wireless channel conditions. Compared with traditional cross-layer styles, our proposed method targets to efficiently transmit video information generated with some emerging techniques for better wireless transmissions, where the video knowledge are divided into multiple chunks and each chunk contributes freelance distortion to the entire video quality. To reduce the end-to-finish distortion, we tend to formulate a generalized optimization downside and derive a joint optimal carrier matching and power allocation scheme. Rather than relying on a specific video encoding technique as tired the standard work, we intend our design to be applicable to a general family of recent video schemes. We have a tendency to apply our proposed technique to two applications, the improved analog coding and therefore the uncompressed video transmission over OFDM. In both applications, the performance will be improved by adopting our scheme. Simulation results validate the effectiveness of our approach in achieving significantly better PSNR and visual quality compared to reference schemes. Did you like this research project?
