Robust Multi-Focus Image Fusion Using Edge Model and Multi-Matting - 2018

ABSTRACT:

An effective multi-focus image fusion method is proposed to get an all-in-focus image with all objects in focus by merging multiple pictures. The proposed technique initial estimates focus maps employing a novel combination of edge model and a ancient block-based mostly focus live. Then, a propagation method is conducted to get correct weight maps based mostly on a novel multi-matting model that makes full use of the spatial data. The fused all-in-focus image is finally generated based mostly on a weighted-sum strategy. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed methodology has state-of-the-art performance for multi-focus image fusion below varied situations encountered in apply, even in cases with obvious misregistration.
