PROJECT TITLE :

Introduction to Digital I/O: Constraining I/O Power Consumption in High-Performance Systems

ABSTRACT:

Digital I/O performance is now a headline specification in practically any high-performance electronic system, from shopper merchandise to enterprise servers. Any future progress in integrated circuit computational capability must naturally be matched with progress on digital I/O. Thus, recent analysis has led to tremendous progress in the data rates communicated over individual chip-to-chip links.
