Algorithms Scheduling with Migration Strategies for Reducing Fragmentation in Distributed Systems

ABSTRACT:

Task scheduling could be a downside which seeks to allocate, over time, numerous tasks in numerous resources. During this paper we tend to contemplate cluster task scheduling on a heterogeneous multicluster system. 2 types of jobs are thought-about, parallel and sequential (or nonparallel). To scale back fragmentation caused by the scheduler group, migration mechanisms were implemented. Moreover, the dispatchers (global and native) use distributions of jobs in order to attenuate delays within the queues of tasks, along with response time. To investigate the various things, performance metrics were applied aiming to compare schedulers in numerous situations.
