A Pre-Bayesian Game for CDMA Power Control During Network Association PROJECT TITLE :A Pre-Bayesian Game for CDMA Power Control During Network AssociationABSTRACT:This paper introduces a game-theoretic approach to the issue of power allocation for the uplink of a flat-fading code division multiple access (CDMA) wireless Communication network, in which terminals already code-locked to the access point coexist with some terminals still in the code acquisition stage. To capture the tradeoff between obtaining good performance and saving as much energy as possible for both classes of terminals, we propose a noncooperative game with strict incomplete information (i.e., a pre-Bayesian game) based on an energy-efficient criterion that depends on each terminal's status. This formulation allows us to derive an iterative and distributed algorithm that enables each terminal to locally regulate its optimal transmit power without any knowledge about all others' operating status. A numerical example is reported to measure the improvements provided by the proposed approach. Did you like this research project? To get this research project Guidelines, Training and Code...
