PROJECT TITLE :

Power Properties of Four-Wire Systems at Nonsinusoidal Supply Voltage

ABSTRACT:

Powers of 3-section aggregates of single-part static linear masses equipped with a nonsinusoidal voltage are the subject of this paper. It is demonstrated during this paper that the availability current of such systems with a nonsinusoidal voltage can be decomposed into six mutually orthogonal components associated with distinctive physical phenomena within the load, 2 of which don't exist at a sinusoidal voltage. Such decomposition permits evaluation of contribution of those phenomena to the supply-current rms price increase and the power issue decline. An influence equation and definitions of powers in such systems in the presence of voltage harmonics are proposed. This paper shows that all powers will be expressed in terms of load parameters, that will be identified by a measurement at the load terminals.
