Steady-state model for the three-leg shunt-series ac-link power flow controller PROJECT TITLE :Steady-state model for the three-leg shunt-series ac-link power flow controllerABSTRACT:Shunt-series ac links represent a category of therefore-known as vector switching converters, capable of controlling power flows by synthesising an adjustable series voltage. A novel steady-state model for the recently introduced 3-leg shunt-series ac link, appropriate for power flow studies, is developed during this study. The new model is then applied in two optimal power flow issues arising in distribution systems, specifically, power loss reduction and integration of distributed generation, where the performance of the three-leg topology is compared with that of the standard four-leg scheme. The CIGRE Task Force C06.04.02 benchmark network is used as case study. Did you like this research project? To get this research project Guidelines, Training and Code...
