Algorithms for fault zone detection in series-compensated transmission lines PROJECT TITLE :Algorithms for fault zone detection in series-compensated transmission linesABSTRACT:This study represents four new strategies for fault zone detection in series-compensated lines and compares them with each alternative and with some previous methods. Among the proposed strategies, two ways are primarily based on direct current element of voltages and currents, and operate using both line ends information. The third method uses only one end knowledge and is predicated on the analysis of instantaneous current behaviour. The fourth methodology conjointly uses one line end information and acts on the premise of instantaneous power waveform behaviour. The proposed methods, besides the three well-known previous ways, are evaluated employing a giant range of simulated cases by Power System laptop-aided style. The results verify the validation of the proposed ways. Did you like this research project? To get this research project Guidelines, Training and Code...
