PROJECT TITLE :

Cancellation of Specular Reflection by Shadow Radiation

ABSTRACT:

Interference of the specular reflection and therefore the shadow radiation is analyzed in the sphere scattered by an oblong cylinder located on an infinite plane. It is shown that the shadow radiation will fully cancel the specular reflection from the cylinder for bound frequencies of the incident wave.
