Smart Monitoring Cameras Driven Intelligent Processing to Big Surveillance Video Data - 2018


Video surveillance system has become a critical half in the safety and protection system of modem cities, since good monitoring cameras equipped with intelligent video analytics techniques will monitor and pre-alarm abnormal behaviors or events. However, with the enlargement of the surveillance network, large surveillance video data poses huge challenges to the analytics, storage and retrieval in the large Knowledge era. This Project presents a novel intelligent processing and utilization answer to massive surveillance video data based on the event detection and alarming messages from front-end good cameras. The strategy includes three components: the intelligent pre-alarming for abnormal events, sensible storage for surveillance video and fast retrieval for evidence videos, that absolutely explores the temporal-spatial association analysis with respect to the abnormal events in numerous monitoring sites. Experimental results reveal that our proposed approach can reliably pre-alarm security risk events, substantially cut back space for storing of recorded video and considerably speed up the evidence video retrieval related to specific suspects.
