Generalized Nested Array: Optimization for Degrees of Freedom and Mutual Coupling - 2018 PROJECT TITLE :Generalized Nested Array: Optimization for Degrees of Freedom and Mutual Coupling - 2018ABSTRACT:In this letter, we have a tendency to propose a generalized nested array (GNA) with 2 flexible co-prime factors for enlarging the inter-element spacing of 2 concatenated uniform linear subarrays. It is shown that each the prototype nested array and generalized co-prime array can be interpreted as special cases. The closed-type expressions for the vary of consecutive lags and the amount of distinctive lags are derived for any given factors. Once optimization, GNA has the identical number of degrees of freedom as (super) nested array however with reduced mutual coupling. Numerical simulations prove the superiority of proposed configuration using compressed sensing algorithm. Did you like this research project?
