Current Source Inverter with Multiple Levels PROJECT TITLE : Multilevel Current Source Inverter ABSTRACT: Conventionally, DC/AC converters can be divided into two categories: voltage-source inverters (VSIs) and current-source inverters (CSIs) (CSIs). Some of these features are common to both types of converters, although their specific use depends on the application. The VSI is the most often studied multilevel design for dc/ac conversion. In this study, a paralleled arrangement for multi-level CSI is proposed. Rather than using numerous carriers, a separate sinusoidal pulse with modulation is utilised to drive the converter. A method for balancing inductor currents is also provided. The results of simulations and experiments are also shown, as well as the process and analysis that went into them.
