A Novel Forbidden-Region-Based Stability Criterion for AC Grid-Converter Systems in the Modified Sequence-Domain PROJECT TITLE : A Novel Forbidden-Region-Based Stability Criterion in Modified Sequence-Domain for AC Grid-Converter System ABSTRACT: For an ac grid-converter system, a new forbidden-region-based criterion (N-FRBC) is presented in the modified sequence-domain. The mirror frequency symmetry of the impedance ratio matrix in modified sequence-domain reduces the amount of constraints compared to the FRBC in dq-domain. In addition, the improved banned area reduces the FRBC's conservatism. The proposed N-FRBC is effective and proper when it comes to studying the stability difficulties of the ac grid-converter system, according to simulation and experimental data.
