PROJECT TITLE :

Switching Control of Buck Converter Based on Energy Conservation Principle - 2016

ABSTRACT:

This brief presents a switching management scheme (SCS) based on the energy conservation principle for buck converters. The concept of the SCS is predicated on the conservation of energy in circuit. It keeps the balance between the energy that's injected into a circuit and also the total of the energy that is consumed by the load and stored in reactive elements. The SCS not only regulates the output voltage of the buck converter accurately below static conditions, however additionally improves its dynamic responses to disturbances of input voltage and cargo current. Furthermore, the SCS is capable of operating in both the continuous current mode and therefore the discontinuous current mode, and the soundness analysis undertaken using the Lyapunov stability criterion shows that the SCS is stable in all cases. Simulation and experimental results ensure the chance and attractiveness of using this methodology to regulate buck converters.
