For a cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel Inverter, a Fuzzy Logic Based Switching Methodology PROJECT TITLE : A Fuzzy Logic Based Switching Methodology for a Cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel Inverter ABSTRACT: Fuzzy logic is used to construct a novel switching method in this letter. Conventional logic-gate design is eliminated in the suggested solution, making it easier to implement. In addition to generating pulses, the fuzzy logic pulse generator serves as a lookup table. Controlled membership functions (MF) and fuzzy logic controller rules can be used to generate pulses directly from the modulation index as an input. Based on a cascaded multi-level inverter that uses selective harmonic elimination pulsewidth modulation, the proposed technique is tested. Pre-calculated firing conditions for various modulation index values are used to design MFs. The suggested switching approach is supported by hardware verification.
