Design and Implementation of a Novel Multilevel DC-AC Inverter - 2016 PROJECT TITLE :Design and Implementation of a Novel Multilevel DC-AC Inverter - 2016ABSTRACT:In this paper, a novel multilevel DC-AC inverter is proposed. The proposed multilevel inverter generates seven-level AC output voltage with the appropriate gate signal design. Yet, the low pass filter is employed to reduce the overall harmonic distortion of the sinusoidal output voltage. The switching losses and therefore the voltage stress across the facility devices can be reduced within the proposed multilevel inverter. The operating principles of the proposed inverter and also the voltage balancing method of input capacitors are mentioned. Finally, a prototype multilevel inverter with an input voltage of four hundred V, output voltage of 220 Vrms and output power of two kW is implemented. The multilevel inverter is controlled with the sinusoidal pulse-width modulation(SPWM) by TMS320LF2407 digital signal processor (DSP). The experimental results show that the utmost efficiency is 96.9percent and the total load potency is 94.vi%. Did you like this research project?
