Resource Scheduling and Delay Analysis for Workflow in Wireless Small Cloud - 2018 PROJECT TITLE :Resource Scheduling and Delay Analysis for Workflow in Wireless Small Cloud - 2018ABSTRACT:This Project studies resource scheduling for wireless tiny cloud assuming that the execution of an application is modeled as a workflow graph. A scheduling methodology is proposed which consists of two elements. For the task-to-computing-unit assignment part that operates on the long-term time-scale, the answer is to partition the workflow into task groups that have loose data transfer constraint and every task cluster is assigned to the computing unit that can finish executing the task group at the earliest time. For the computing and wireless Communication resource scheduling part which operates on the short-term time-scale, we have a tendency to merely use the spherical-robin principle. A half by part delay part estimation methodology is presented based on that the typical delay performance will be analyzed. Simulation results validate the theoretical analysis and show that the proposed technique outperforms existing methods. The impact of various parameter settings on the system performance is additionally investigated. Did you like this research project? To get this research project Guidelines, Training and Code...
