Dermoscopy Image Analysis [Book review] PROJECT TITLE :Dermoscopy Image Analysis [Book review]ABSTRACT:This book is half of the CRC Press Digital Imaging and Laptop Vision Series of books with a concentrate on the growing field of digital analysis of dermoscopy images. The dermatoscope has become a ubiquitous tool for dermatologists to judge pigmented lesions, however it can have a steep learning curve, and the present reporting/grading schemes are highly subjective, creating it tough to realize interobserver consistency. Having additional algorithmic approaches towards processing dermoscopy images may lead to a lot of consistent interpretation and aid in coaching residents, fellows and practicing dermatologists. Additionally, the existence of this digital imaging knowledge can enable a lot of advanced pc-aided diagnosis (CAD) strategies to be applied during this field, permit data to be shared among clinicians through common databases and electronic medical records, and advance research in this field by providing expanded access to imaging information for a bigger variety of skin conditions. This book provides a comprehensive outline of this cutting-edge in digital dermoscopic image analysis across a wide variety of topics. Did you like this research project?
