A Survey of Securing Networks Using Software Defined Networking PROJECT TITLE :A Survey of Securing Networks Using Software Defined NetWorkingABSTRACT:Software Defined NetWorking (SDN) is rapidly rising as a new paradigm for managing and controlling the operation of networks starting from the data center to the core, enterprise, and residential. The logical centralization of network intelligence presents exciting challenges and opportunities to reinforce security in such networks, together with new ways in which to forestall, detect, and react to threats, furthermore innovative security services and applications that are built upon SDN capabilities. During this paper, we undertake a comprehensive survey of recent works that apply SDN to security, and determine promising future directions that may be addressed by such analysis.
