A Distinctive Resonance: Multiband Bandpass Filter Design Techniques Using Multimode Resonators

ABSTRACT:

It has been over a decade since stepped-impedance resonators (SIRs) initial carved a distinct segment in applications for multiband bandpass filter (BPF) style. This was the primary class of resonator at intervals the broad category of multimode resonator (MMR). Multiband filter design has seen subsequent development in different sorts of MMRs, as well as stub-loaded resonators (SLRs), ring-loaded resonators, and also the newly introduced fractal-form resonators. In this article, we have a tendency to describe the different types of MMRs, along with their variations, that have led to emerging innovative design techniques for multiband BPFs.
