Design and Development of Low-Cost Low Sidelobe Level Slotted Waveguide Antenna Array in X-Band PROJECT TITLE :Design and Development of Low-Cost Low Sidelobe Level Slotted Waveguide Antenna Array in X-BandABSTRACT:This paper presents a low-cost low-profile compact waveguide-fed slotted antenna array with terribly low average sidelobe level (ASLL) in X-band. The specified current distribution on the antenna array’s aperture is synthesized using Schelkunoff’s unit circle technique combined with genetic algorithm technique. The antenna array style based on the synthesized current distribution is disbursed using finite integration technique-based mostly industrial EM simulator. The designed antenna is fabricated employing a low-value fabrication process. The measured results obtained are in smart agreement with the simulated results.
