Context-Aware Trust Management Framework for the Internet of Vehicles (CTMF) PROJECT TITLE : CTMF: Context-Aware Trust Management Framework for Internet of Vehicles ABSTRACT: The Internet of Vehicles' primary focus should be on ensuring the safety of all Communications (IoV). The level of trust that exists between different nodes in an IoV network can have a significant bearing on how well that network is protected. Therefore, the reliability of a message that has been received needs to be assessed prior to taking any action based on it. In order to take control of the network, a malicious node can fake events and broadcast them. In times of emergency, the network's reliability is compromised by erroneous reports and malicious vehicles. The purpose of this investigation is to accurately identify malicious nodes and events by presenting a novel trust framework that takes into consideration the majority of aspects of trust in IoV. Previous research has put forward a few trust models for VANETs, but these networks have a lot of problems when it comes to serving IoV. In particular, they are lacking in terms of their dynamic qualities and their practical applications. All of the models that are currently available share two characteristics: first, they rely on parameters that are fixed, and second, they use scenarios that are always the same. In contrast, the proposed framework is founded on a cognitive approach that is aware of its surrounding context and possesses artificial intelligence (AI) characteristics. The environment is cognitively learned by the framework based on the report that is received, and the framework then constructs a context for an event. A novel method for detecting and screening malicious nodes by making use of anomaly outliers is included in the proposed framework. This method is offered in addition to trust management (TM). An experimental simulation was utilized in order to investigate the effectiveness of the framework. The proposed framework was evaluated based on its similarity to the most successful benchmarks in the field. The findings point to an upward trend in the performance indicators. There is a possibility that the trust-management framework that has been proposed could play a role in the security of IoV. Did you like this research project?
