Design, Realization, and Measurements of a Corner Reflector Printed Antenna Array With Cosecant Squared-Shaped Beam Pattern PROJECT TITLE :Design, Realization, and Measurements of a Corner Reflector Printed Antenna Array With Cosecant Squared-Shaped Beam PatternABSTRACT:The detailed analysis, full development, and experimental realization of a replacement printed antenna array with cosecant squared-shaped beam pattern are presented. Some benefits of proposed antenna, as compared to previously realized microstrip cosecant-squared pattern antennas, are got wind. The urged antenna, which targets X frequency vary, has significantly better bandwidth characteristics due to its symmetrical radiating components of pentagonal form. The symmetrical feeding network of impedance transformers provides necessary amplitude's and part's distributions obtained by Orchard Elliott's strategies and genetic algorithm. Furthermore, it is on the same substrate as antenna, making entire concept easy, easy, and low-cost for realization. Moreover, the antenna is during a corner reflector, which allows achieving relatively high gain. The proposed antenna is validated by simulations and measurements. The measured radiation pattern barely varies from theoretical radiation pattern. Realized antenna has gain on top of 15 dBi and sidelobe suppression larger than twenty dB at the center frequency of ten GHz. Did you like this research project?
