Privacy and performance trade-off in cyber-physical systems PROJECT TITLE :Privacy and performance trade-off in cyber-physical systemsABSTRACT:The increasing range of instances of privacy leakage in CPSs and therefore the corresponding serious consequences have caused nice worry in our society. In most privacy preserving mechanisms proposed to guard sensitive individual information, system performance is compromised at the same time. In this article, we tend to take into account the trade-off between individual privacy and system performance in CPSs. When introducing the CPS design and the essential definition of differential privacy, we have a tendency to formulate the performance optimization problem subject to a given differential privacy demand. For a simplified system, we derive the closed-form optimal system performance beneath the specified privacy demand. Simulation results are provided to verify the proposed mechanism, which balances the trade-off between system performance and privacy. We have a tendency to also determine future analysis topics on the privacy preserving downside in CPSs. Did you like this research project?
