PROJECT TITLE :

SoftNet: A software defined decentralized mobile network architecture toward 5G

ABSTRACT:

Mobile Cloud Computing and different new rising Communication paradigms like mobile social NetWorking and.Net-of-Things, have brought challenges in flexibility, potency, and scalability to the present LTE network. Inspired by thinking of the basic mechanisms in LTE as reasons inflicting those issues, SoftNet, a software outlined decentralized mobile network design toward 5G, is proposed in this text following principles proposed for planning an efficient and scalable network. The analysis of the operating mechanisms of SoftNet, including its dynamically defined design, decentralized mobility management, distributed information forwarding, and multi-RATs coordination, show that SoftNet has improved system capability and performance. More, simulations are conducted to demonstrate that signaling value in SoftNet, as an vital performance metric, can be decreased considerably compared with LTE networks.
