Engineering Privacy in Social Applications PROJECT TITLE :Engineering Privacy in Social ApplicationsABSTRACT:Expertise with a social application depends crucially upon how it supports or interferes with the users' social expectations. Because privacy is central to the user's experience, the authors introduce Danio, a strategy based on modeling users' expectations in various contexts. Preliminary analysis involving 34 developers suggests that Danio simplifies the development of social applications and saves time during implementation and testing.
