PROJECT TITLE :

Power-Line Communication: Channel Characterization and Modeling for Transportation Systems

ABSTRACT:

This text provides an summary of the recent advances within the characterization and modeling of power-line Communication (PLC) channels in transportation systems. The salient aspects of the topological and functional options of the data channels using power networks of motorized vehicles, spacecraft, and aircraft are presented. This text is tutorial in nature and guides the reader through a choice of recent papers, collecting relevant results required to assess the feasibility and strengths of PLC for this category of applications.
