Modeling, Limits and Baseline of Voltage Interharmonics Generation in Andean Wind Farms

ABSTRACT:

The subsequent study focuses on the analysis of voltage interharmonics based mostly on power quality experimental information of Villonaco&#thirty-nine;s Wind Farm. This park is located on the Villonaco hill, province of Loja at 2720 meters higher than ocean level within the Andes of Ecuador. The study arises because of the problem that there are no standards to define the boundaries of interharmonics generation for power plants. This work consists of 2 aspects: the statistical modeling of voltage interharmonics and also the generation of the baselines. The overall proposed methodology, the applying for Villonaco's wind farm and also the results and conclusions obtained are detailed. Additionally, taking advantage that the wind farm meets the ability quality standards, the voltage interharmonics characterization is finished, in order to supply the first interharmonics baseline in wind farms built on the Andean region.
