HIE-FDTD Method With PML for 2-D Periodic Structures at Oblique Incidence PROJECT TITLE :HIE-FDTD Method With PML for 2-D Periodic Structures at Oblique IncidenceABSTRACT:For analyzing the oblique incident plane wave on periodic structures with the fine structure solely in one direction, a hybrid implicit-specific finite-difference time-domain (HIE-FDTD) methodology with the peerlessly matched layer (PML) springs. First, the sphere transformation technique is adopted to eliminate the time delay, and also the PML formulations are derived by using the auxiliary differential equation (ADE) methodology. Then, by combining the transformed Maxwell's equations with the PML formulations and adopting the regionally one-dimensional (LOD) theme, the proposed methodology with two substep implementations is obtained, which solely desires to resolve one implicit equation. The Courant-Friedrichs-Lewy (CFL) condition of the proposed method is additional relaxed and now not limited by the fine grid cell size. Did you like this research project?
