PROJECT TITLE :

Classification of Shell-Shaped Targets Using RCS and Fuzzy Classifier

ABSTRACT:

During this paper, a procedure to style a fuzzy classifier to classify shell-formed targets is proposed. The proposed procedure utilizes the radar cross section (RCS) of a shell-formed target considering the relative orientation angle and polarization dependences in numerous flight situations based on real situations. In addition, particle swarm optimization (PSO) is applied to the fuzzy classifier to maximize its classification capability. Numerical results using three totally different shell-shaped targets are presented to assess the effectiveness of the proposed methodology.
