Reliability Equivalence and Sensitivity Analysis to UHVDC Systems Based on the Matrix Description of the F D Method PROJECT TITLE :Reliability Equivalence and Sensitivity Analysis to UHVDC Systems Based on the Matrix Description of the F D MethodABSTRACT:For reliability analysis to ultra HVDC transmission (UHVDC) systems, the transition rates once multi-step equivalence aren't express expressions of the reliability parameters. Therefore, the sensitivity of the reliability indices to the parameters can't be analytically expressed. A replacement sensitivity model once equivalence is proposed. The state house considering the winding of converter transformers comes, two [*fr1]-capability levels are differentiated, and therefore the passive reserve shutdown is considered. The derivatives of the state chances to reliability parameters are given by the transition rates. The transition frequencies before and when state aggregation are given by matrix kind to facilitate the frequency and length (F&D) methodology, therefore yielding sensitivities after reliability equivalence. Numerical results validate accuracy of the sensitivity and therefore the resulting reliability indices, and quantify the dependency of the sensitivity on the parametric change and spare schemes. The proposed model helps determine the vulnerable parameter and element of UHVDC systems, realize countermeasures, or estimate error due to the uncertainty of reliability parameters.
