PROJECT TITLE :

Call for papers: Focused section on advanced control and navigation for marine mechatronic systems

ABSTRACT:

Marine mechatronic systems are highly multidisciplinary that demands a good integration of mechanical, electrical, management and data disciplines. There are a wide range of applications for marine mechatronic systems, such as ocean exploration, oil and energy harvesting, monitoring and surveying, transportations, and so on. While striving to explore more resources and expand civil, industrial and scientific activities in oceans and waterways, we have a tendency to are faced with an ever-increasing need for advanced mechatronic systems with enhanced performance in the harsh marine atmosphere. Related to this trend, problems like system style, modeling, control, steerage and reliability receive enhanced attention each in engineering and analysis domains. This Targeted Section is dedicated to compile latest research and development efforts contributing to advances in marine mechatronics. The Focused Section can additionally welcome contributions addressing the state-of-the-art in associated developments and methodologies, and therefore the views on future developments and applications. Prospective authors are requested to submit new, unpublished manuscripts for inclusion within the upcoming event described during this call for papers
