Demonstration of Cooperative Resource Allocation in an OpenFlow-Controlled Multidomain and Multinational SD-EON Testbed PROJECT TITLE :Demonstration of Cooperative Resource Allocation in an OpenFlow-Controlled Multidomain and Multinational SD-EON TestbedABSTRACT:The combination of elastic optical networks (EONs) and software-outlined NetWorking (SDN) ends up in SD-EONs, which bring a replacement opportunity for enhancing programmability and adaptability of optical networks with a lot of freedom for network operators to customise their infrastructure dynamically. In this paper, we tend to investigate how to apply multidomain situations to SD-EONs. We style the functionalities within the control plane to facilitate multidomain tasks, and propose an interdomain protocol to enable OpenFlow controllers in numerous SD-EON domains to work cooperatively for multidomain routing and spectrum assignment. The proposed system is implemented and experimentally demonstrated in an exceedingly multinational SD-EON management plane testbed that consists of 2 geographically distributed domains located in China and USA, respectively. Experimental results indicate that the proposed system performs well for resource allocation across multiple SD-EON domains. Did you like this research project?
