PROJECT TITLE :

An Efficient Tag Search Protocol in Large-Scale RFID Systems With Noisy Channel

ABSTRACT:

Radio frequency identification (RFID) technology has several applications in inventory management, supply chain, product tracking, transportation, and logistics. One analysis issue of practical importance is to look for a explicit cluster of tags during a large-scale RFID system. Time potency may be a crucial factor that must be thought of when coming up with a tag search protocol to ensure its execution will not interfere with other traditional inventory operations. In this paper, we tend to style a new technique referred to as filtering vector, that will significantly scale back transmission overhead throughout search process, thereby shortening search time. Based mostly on this method, we have a tendency to propose an iterative tag search protocol. In each spherical, we have a tendency to filter out some tags and eventually terminate the search process when the search result meets the accuracy requirement. Furthermore, we extend our protocol to work under noisy channel. The simulation results demonstrate that our protocol performs a lot of better than the simplest existing work.
