In-band full-duplex relaying for 5G cellular networks with wireless virtualization


Recent advances in self-interference cancellation techniques enable in-band FDR systems, that transmit and receive simultaneously in the identical frequency band with high spectrum efficiency. Meanwhile, wireless virtualization permits abstraction and sharing of infrastructure and radio spectrum resources in wireless networks. Each in-band FDR and wireless virtualization are promising technologies for 5G cellular networks. In this text, we have a tendency to first provide a temporary survey of them to gift their basic ideas, enabling technologies, characteristics, and therefore on. Then we have a tendency to propose a virtual resource management design for in-band FDR networks, where multiple service providers and multiple mobile network operators coexist. Simulation results are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed theme.
