New solution for the creation of MANETs based on personal devices

ABSTRACT:

Mobile unexpected networks (MANETs) enable Communication between moving nodes through multi-hop wireless routes. There are protocols with special features that handle each auto-configuration and routing in these networks. Nevertheless, several of those auto-configuration protocols have not been really implemented and in consequence, only exist some available solutions for MANETs conformation. This article presents a new resolution for this issue, mainly in cases where only personal devices are obtainable. The core of the proposal is a new auto-configuration protocol, that permits dynamic allocation of distinctive IP addresses and accomplishes effective answers in front of problems like mergers and partitions of networks, and others. Finally, the results of simulations in OMNET++ and of tests of a pilot version based mostly on Android mobile phones are shown.
