Performance analysis of a k-round contention resolution scheme for WLANs PROJECT TITLE :Performance analysis of a k-round contention resolution scheme for WLANsABSTRACT:To realize high potency and robustness during the node competition method in medium access management (MAC) protocols, a k-round competition resolution (k-CR) theme is devised. Theoretical analysis of its success probability of choosing solely one node ps and throughput is also presented. Numerical results show that the k-CR theme can achieve higher ps than the k-round elimination competition (k-EC) theme, and better throughput than the k-EC and IEEE 802.eleven DCF schemes in a wireless native area network environment.
