The effect of a stand-alone ethics course in Chilean engineering students' attitudes PROJECT TITLE :The effect of a stand-alone ethics course in Chilean engineering students' attitudesABSTRACT:Engineering ethics education is taking up increasing importance worldwide, but in Chile the share of universities that have a mandatory course regarding ethics continues to be little. Traditionally, Chilean universities with existing ethics courses teach them employing a philosophical or theological perspective, limited to occidental theories, and sometimes from a Christian purpose of read. This article studies the impact of a brand new methodology and technique to show ethics in Chile: case-based mostly, non-normative, and with a important-descriptive approach.
