An intelligent Mobile Web Browser to adapt the mobile web as a function of the physical environment

ABSTRACT:

Today, millions of users all over the world visit websites using their Smartphones. Mobile devices have many features that will contribute to worsen the user expertise when using mobile webs, such as: tiny displays and virtual keyboards, poor precision to select parts using the finger as cursor. Moreover, the mobile.Net incorporates a peculiar feature, is not perpetually employed in the identical place or in the identical things; in several cases environmental factors can adversely affect the user experience whereas he is using a internet application, adverse things derived from the ambient may be totally different: noise pollution, an excess of sunshine, not being able to determine well the letters whereas walking, etc. This analysis presents a completely unique mobile.Net paradigm that allows the variation of internet applications relying on the atmosphere. The proposed solution introduces a novel Mobile Internet Browser based on the principles of the Ambient Intelligence (AmI). This Web browser uses the Smartphone's hardware elements as sensors and microphones to capture the environmental information, that will be intelligently analyzed to detect events and different situations. The identified things will be communicated to the web application, therefore that appropriate adaptation are created and there by improve the user expertise.
