With recent policy in Thailand that support individuals to invest in renewable energy in household with solar rooftop program. It is necessary to investigate the performance of solar rooftop PV generating system in residential sector. During this paper gift simulation of Photovoltaic (PV) Grid-connected system using PSIM program. 3 sort of solar panel are used in the analysis; Monocrystalline, Polycrystalline and Thin Film. Comparison in term of power generating, potency and power quality between these three varieties of solar panel when connected to utility grid were done to guage performance in term of energy and economic facet.
