Smooth Operation Transition Scheme for Stand-alone Power System with EG and BESS-PV Panels - 2017


This letter proposes a brand new theme of smooth operation transition for the stand-alone power system that consists of engine generator and battery energy storage system (BESS) with photo voltaic panels. The proposed theme offers swish operation transition of BESS controller from the present control to the voltage control and vice versa. The feasibility of proposed scheme was verified through experiments with a scaled prototype.
