ABSTRACT:

Silicon carbide (SiC) power devices are helpful to the converters in terms of size reduction and potency increase. Nevertheless, the fast switching of SiC devices ends up in additional serious electromagnetic interference (EMI) noise issue. Optical fibers based mostly isolation provides a reliable answer to block the EMI noises from the ability circuit to the management circuit however with further cost and size penalty, especially for multilevel converters.
